Although, Colva Police Station has the honour of being depicted in various Bollywood movies, the actual structure appears to be neglected and shabby. The east face particularly looks like a garbage dump with a moss covered well and a forest of broken branches.
The interiors are very dingy and the front facade also requires attention. The Indo-Portuguese house which houses the station should be restored to its former glory by appointing a conservation architect. After all, how do you expect police personnel to work efficiently out of a dilapidated building?
