A signboard pertaining to “pedestrian crossing” installed in the vicinity of Public Café, near old bus stand in Ponda sometime back, has been presently found missing from the scene.
In its absence, the public at large have been facing great difficulties in crossing the road. They are likely to be knocked down by the proceeding vehicles.
Similarly, white strips need to be painted adjacent to the said signboard. Let us hope that the authorities would take a note of this sensitive matter and do the needful on top priority.
Precious human lives must be assured safety on a permanent basis.
