On many occasions, the maintenance section of electricity department overlooks the existing defects over the electricity poles. Such defects remain unattended for long. Seen in the picture are creepers existing over an electricity pole near Singbal Clinic at Khadpabandh in Ponda. Such a state of affairs levies a negative image of this important government department.
The said pole also carries an ugly appearance. It is time for the higher officials at this department in Ponda to take a note of this important matter and arrange immediate removal of creepers from the above electricity pole on priority basis. Let us hope that prompt favorable action would follow without any further delay.
