Sometime back a new speed-breaker was installed near Two Pillars at Queula village in Ponda. The same was painted with white paint so as to assure safety to travellers proceeding along this critical location.
However at present the white paint has withered away and the speed-breaker is not visible at a glance.
Under such circumstances there is every possibility of mishaps taking place sooner or later. Precious human lives will indeed have to face adverse consequences in the process. In order to assure safety for travellers, it would be appropriate for the concerned competent authorities to re-paint this speed-breaker on priority basis.
Prompt positive steps in this direction would go a long way in assuring protection to one and all. Let us hope that needful would be done at the earliest in public interest.
