This has become a regular feature in Siolim on MDR-6 Marna-Siolim road, where the water supply pipeline has been bursting and leaking on the road. The PWD has to address this issue once and for all.
There has been a proposal to replace the old cement pipeline but after almost two years the Water Resources Department is yet to complete the pipeline project for irrigation and the road remains in dilapidated condition causing hardship to the public and commuters.
Will the concerned authority decide to quickly restore and attend the repair and plug the leakages as thousands of litres of water go for waste into the drains of Siolim.
