This particular high mast lamp situated near Masjid-e-Noorani at Curti in Ponda has been found non-functional on most occasions. As a result, travellers and pedestrians are deprived of illumination on the road at night.
Although the electricity department personnel often proceed along this strategic location on regular basis, the lamp has been neglected. I sincerely request the higher officials of the electricity department in Ponda to consider the plight of public at large and arrange prompt repairs of this high mast lamp so that travellers and pedestrians are assured necessary illumination on the road. Let us hope that prompt positive action would be initiated without any further delay. No doubt, public at large must be assured relief on a permanent basis.
