At few places in Benaulim there are open fuse boxes with their fuses removed by the miscreants. This leads to short circuits and power cuts in the area, besides they are potential deathtraps. Animals which have gone too close for grazing have been electrocuted at various instances.
Cable thefts have also taken place due to the boxes being open, things become more dangerous during the monsoon. I request the Electricity Department to either replace or repair such boxes before a major mishap occurs.
