It is really sad to see that the sellers of footwear and lottery tickets hurting religious sentiments for the past years as they are doing their business in front of the Holy Cross chapel blocking the way.
This issue was brought to the notice of the municipality several times but neither the Margao Town police nor the Margao MLA, have been able to solve this long time problem which hurts religious sentiment.
