In the Citizen Herald page dated (March 1), I had highlighted the deep road depression that was present at the Chicalim junction, Vasco, which could prove dangerous for road users, especially two-wheeler riders.
The road depression was present at a blind turn for traffic coming from Vasco town and needed urgent attention from the authorities concerned. It is heartening to note that the road has been repaired and tarred.
This makes for a smooth drive around the traffic island and has reduced chances of an accident taking place at the junction.
