Roads in Salvador do Mundo in a bad shape

The roads in Salvador do Mundo are in bad a shape as the villagers put their lives at risk while commuting.
Be it students, working class people or members of the general public, this particular road connecting the village to the highway at Porvorim near the Holy Family Church junction has skipped the attention of the concerned authorities for a long time and has been causing inconvenience to daily commuters proceeding to Panjim, Mapusa and back.
The road has deteriorated and the potholes have made it bumpy.
Government has been spending in crores on festivals such as IFFI and other unwanted projects but has no money for maintaining the village roads to ensure the safety of the locals.
What can we say more, the road in the picture is self-explanatory.
