The burning of Narkasur effigy is long over. However the metal remains of the burnt effigy are still seen by the roadside at several places.
While presenting a sore sight it could also obstruct the flow of traffic and even be a cause of a road accident. In the photo clicked at Sada in Vasco, the burnt remains of the effigy are seen at the blind turn of a busy road junction. The authorities concerned need to see to it that such metal remains are shifted to another spot away from the road.
