This parking area adjacent to the Panjim Market needs to be thoroughly cleaned. The place is littered with heaps of rotting leaves and flowers, discarded bottles, plastic and every sort of rubbish. The covers of the gutters are scattered around.
How is it that the City Corporation of Panaji (CCP) which has been threatening heavy penalties for users of plastic and those who litter have not cleaned up this filth in their front yard which seems to be never lifted by the CCP workers. Since scooters get parked here throughout the day the workers need to lift all the accumulated rubbish early every morning.
Those in authority need to take a round of this location and enforce strict cleanliness of this important part of the City on a regular basis.
