Health care centre at the village panchayat complex of Salvador do Mundo needs a doctor with regular timing to attend to the patients, particularly the senior citizens.
Currently, one lady doctor attending to the villagers has to run in and out to attend to medical camps as and when held at different places leaving behind the trained staff who only carry out primary medical treatment to the needy.
Moreover, the centre is not fully equipped with facilities to attend to some minor emergency casualties when demanded and patients are directed to go elsewhere for treatment.
The panchayat complex is posh in construction with multi utilities, it makes high impression when anyone visits but lacks well equipped medical facilities to take care of the people. Will the Health Minister look into the needs of this health care centre.
