Set priorities to have footpaths over gardens

This has reference to the letter ‘Set priorities right in beautification of capital city suburb’ (Citizen Herald, March 1). Many people enjoyed reading and reached out to me very concerned about the ongoing damage to Miramar Beach.

I am proud of the management of Herald for bringing to public attention all kind of atrocities going on in Panjim and elsewhere, and especially nowadays on our Miramar Beach front.

The photo clicked recently on March 5, is for the public to see how our Miramar Beach is under siege not only with gardens and Samadhis but with a number of building constructions.

If such activities continue, we Panjimites will not be allowed to enjoy the beauty of our old-age life on the sands of Miramar Beach.

The priority should be to repair the footpath along the promenade from Dona Paula to Miramar. It’s of importance not only for senior citizens but all those who wants to have morning as well evening walk.

Will the government stopping such gardens and illegalities near the Miramar Beach, just because something is hidden from the public does not mean the public is blind or stupid.
