The contractor has carried out the restoration work of a road in Vasco in a sloppy way.
The road was excavated in order to lay a sewerage line. A few days later, the road caved in and turned into a huge pit. This in turn has put the lives of pedestrians and motorists at risk especially at night, when the pit is filled with rainwater.
The authorities must act swiftly to save lives.
