The helpless public has to suffer everyday even after paying more to Kadamba shuttle service bus to reach faster from Margao to Curchorem and back, as it uses the Guirdolim route to save petrol and reach quicker. But the gate at railway track crossing and heavy traffic jam delay the trip by 20 to 30 minutes nearly everyday.
People often reach late for work. Besides, accidents and fights takes place due to traffic jams. People are forced to wait for a long time for goods train and local trains to pass. Then the KTC bus sometimes gets stuck with other vehicles and not a single vehicle can be move forward or backward. It takes a long time to clear the traffic due to the jam. The Kadamba shuttle service bus was stuck in the traffic jam for about half an hour and such scenes are normal, as people suffer everyday.
However, what one cannot understand is, when the KTC drivers and Kadamba transport corporation department knowing this problem and issue, why they are using the same route from Guridolim railway gate crossing from Margao to Curchorem and why there is no traffic police to solve and control the situation at Chandor railway crossing Gate?
We request the Kadamba transport corporation, Transport Minister, local MLA, traffic police department and government of Goa to look into the matter and solve the problem as soon.
