I’m lucky to be alive and pen down these lines, which could possibly save many lives. Recently, when I was returning home for lunch, a speeding bus passing parallel to the flyover by the service road would have knocked me dead as I was fortunate enough to be missed by a whisker. A speed breaker on either side of the flyover near the Nuvem panchayat could definitely avoid accidents and save precious lives.
I request the authorities to look into the matter seriously and with due urgency ensure that such death traps are not attended to only after the loss of innocent lives.
