Vasco being a Port Town is busy with heavy vehicles passing through the town which has caused lot of accidents and loss of lives.
But recently, the town is facing a serious problem of stray cattle. The herd of cattle come to Vasco in the evening and spread all over mostly at bus stop, near municipality and some cattle enter the vegetable market.
Sometimes, the cattle become so violent they fight and charge at the people making them run for safety. This is very serious issue but the authority has kept a blind eye even the councillors have ignored this issue knowingly. I humbly request the Mormugao Municipal Council and the police as the problem take place in the evening to have joint meeting to solve this problem. They can even seize the cattle and file a criminal case against the owner for putting people’s lives to danger.
Otherwise, the day will be not far away that people will be killed due to this nuisance and negligence of the authority.
