Goans are experiencing this stray dogs menace on the roads, streets, residential areas like housing colonies, etc. The number of dogs keeps on increasing day by day. Some people feed these stray dogs on the streets and this could be one of the reasons for the increase in the number of stray dogs all over Goa. Some people get these stray dogs sterilised and again leave them at the same place from where they were lifted and this could be another reason for the same.
Dumping of garbage on the streets is one more reason. These dogs very often chase scooterists, cyclists, joggers and school kids and knock them down. There should be some concrete steps, some sort of mechanism or atleast sheds for these stray dogs to tackle this menace permanently.
No one can play with the lives of the common people.
