The Swatantra Path in Vasco happens to be one of the most well planned promenade in Goa.
The footpaths on both the sides of the double-lane road which extend from the church square to the IOC storage facility have pavers which were installed several years back. Half of the footpath is reserved for vehicular parking.
However now the pavers are either broken or missing at several places. This gives an ugly look and causes inconvenience to the pedestrians. It is observed that at some places sewerage water percolate through the broken or missing pavers as seen in the photograph. It is high time these old pavers are replaced by new ones.
