There are several house owners in Merces area those who have given their rooms for rents but not submitted their details to the Old Goa Police Station, after several times instructions of police, newspaper and media reports.
But some people are not even bothered about the importance of it as owners of these houses only need their monthly rent and have not given tenants verification forms to the police.
If a migrant runs away without paying rent then they come to police station for help. My request to all these house owners to trust police and submit their tenant’s verification forms to the police station.
Some of the migrants are now using the address of house owners and making Aadhaar Cards. Beware.
