Thank you GSIDC, Electricity Department for putting the electricity cables at the correct depth at CHOGM road at Pilerne.
Last week, I as a concerned citizen journalist brought to the attention of the authorities concerned regarding the shallow installation of underground electricity cables and the consequences there through my letter ‘Laying of underground cables’ (Citizen Herald, 24 April).
I am happy that the Government departments are responsive to public concerns.
