The government had promised to provide time-bound service to people on several occasions. However, no order appears to have been issued so far identifying the areas or laying down time limit.
The government had assured that cases of mutation, re-survey and partition of property would be cleared within three months. There is no sign of such disposal at the bureaucratic level.
Many complain that they have to wait for a long time and make many visits to offices to get their work done. Some also suspect that their files are intentionally delayed. If the procedures are simplified it should not be difficult to satisfy the people.
