It is observed that the action most often taken by the traffic cops for wrong parking of cars is to clamp the wheels. The violator then has to go to the police station, pay the fine and get the clamp removed. This could take even a few hours depending on when the owner of the vehicle comes to know that his/her car has been clamped for wrong parking.
All this while, till the clamp is removed and the car is driven away by the owner, the wrongly parked vehicle will remain stationery at the particular place. This could cause inconvenience to the other road-users.
A more effective action would be to tow away the wrongly parked vehicle to the police station. Towing away a wrongly parked vehicle could act as a greater deterrence to repetition of this traffic violation of wrong parking than clamping the wheels and it (towing) will cause no hindrance to other road-users.
