Traffic signals need of the hour

Pedestrians and parents, who come to drop their children to school to ACDIL in Porvorim, face the risk of road mishaps while crossing the highway from Porvorim or Betim.

This junction needs traffic signals and the garbage dustbins need to be relocated from the ZEBRA crossing, while the stray cattle have to be impounded.

During the morning, people are in a tearing hurry to reach their work place while the students rush to schools and this leads to traffic jams during the peak hours and the place becomes an accident prone zone.

PTA members and the traffic police need to arrange for the meeting and make the junction safe for crossing.
