It is observed that several electrical transformers in the port town of Vasco-da-Gama do not have the mandatory metal enclosure around them. Many e transformers are located at crowded places. The transformer in the photo is located at a parking lot near Apna Bazar which is crowded with people. This can prove dangerous as the transformer can catch fire in the rains or there could be instances of electrocution. All electrical transformers in the city need to be enclosed by a wire mesh in order to prevent any eventuality.
