The exponential increase in the number of two wheelers on the roads in the State has put forth a huge challenge for finding parking space.
The owners of two wheelers, park the bikes chock-a-block by the side of the road as seen near the Sunday market in Vasco. This leaves very little space for the pedestrians who want to cross the road to the other side of the Swatantra Path.
At times, the pedestrians are left with no option but to move about looking even for even the tiniest of gaps between the bikes for them to squeeze through.
There needs to be pedestrian crossing at this crowded market place and those parking their two wheelers along the Zebra Crossing need to be penalised.
The pedestrians have a right to cross to the other side of the road which is blocked by these parked two wheelers.
