Using an umbrella by a two-wheeler pillion rider has become a regular traffic offence which not only puts the life of the rider and the pillion in danger but can cause problems to other motorists as well. The umbrella can come in the line of vision of the rider causing a serious accidents which could be fatal.
There are instances of even the rider using an umbrella through the city streets with the authorities turning a blind eye to these offences. These offenders should be heavily penalised so that such offences are avoided in the future.
