It is observed that at several places in Vasco the concrete slabs covering the drains are either displaced or missing. This can prove very dangerous for the pedestrians, especially senior citizens and little children.
The drain in the photo with displaced covers is in the busy old market place and is filled with rainwater. Pedestrians can trip on it especially at night. The authorities concerned need to make a survey of the drains with displaced, loose and missing concrete slabs and take necessary remedial measures.
