It’s been more than three months since a huge tree, which was present in the Municipal Garden in Vasco, uprooted due to heavy rain showers. A couple of cars parked on the road were badly damaged in the incident.
However, the remains of the fallen tree have not been removed by the concerned authorities till date as seen in the photograph. The logs of the fallen tree still block the pavement along the garden.
It makes it impossible for the pedestrians to use the pavement and hence they have to walk on the road thereby putting their life at risk. The concerned authorities need to remove the logs on a war footing so that the pavement is cleared for the movement of the pedestrians.
