Garbage bins are meant to be used to keep the city clean. Ironically several garbage-bins, many of which appear to have been discarded, are seen lying at Vadem along the road leading to Vasco. They present a sore sight to visitors to the Port Town. They also emit a stinking odour thereby putting the pedestrians to inconvenience. These garbage bins lying along the highway also attract stray cattle and stray dogs thus posing danger to road-users. It would be in the fitness of things for the authorities concerned to shift these garbage-bins to a spot away from the main road so that they do not present an ugly sight and do not attract stray animals.
