The internal roads of Utorda connecting Francis Costa ward, Vodlem bhat, Loyalo waddo, and other wards are in very bad and dilapidated conditions with several potholes, road-edges cracked and have become unmotorable which poses serious threat to the road users and the safety of the driving public is at risk.
The roads were black topped, tarred many years back and have given away to the vagaries of nature, time and road use.
It was given to understand by reliable sources that black topping hot-mix tarring of these roads were tendered, approved sometime back. It only needs to be executed. I kindly request the concerned authorities like PWD, to execute and expedite the works before monsoons.
Also the residents of Francis Costa ward face acute water problem as the ward lies at the tail end of the water pipeline. The water supply is so pathetic that it just trickles only at night. A little technical initiative and corrective action can ensure good water supply to the area. Will the concerned authorities act and alleviate the problems of the people?
