Two questions however arise. How long will the road survive in the rains? Is this not just a cosmetic touch?
If the gravel loosens, it will only lead to potholes along the busy road which could prove dangerous to road-users. Hot-mixing is the only answer and this should have been done before onset of monsoon. But it seems that only agitations and dharnas spur the authorities into action.
