Water scarcity has turned out into a major problem across Goa. The recent disruption of water supply in Bardez area due to the damage of 1000 mm pipeline in hilly area, is alarming and causing grievances to the general public.
Meantime, certain areas in Candolim have not received water supply, approximately for the last 3-4 days, thus creating major hurdles for the general public. With no other alternative, some senior citizens had to carry gallons of water from far off areas on bike, just to keep the family sustained for few days.
No doubt, notification was issued in certain section of media, pertaining to the restricted water supply in Bardez areas like Tivim, Candolim, Calangute, Moira, Nachinola, etc. The authorities concerned kindly see into the said matter on priority basis, and let the repair work be done at a faster pace.
