With the recent heavy rains water-logging has been noticed at several locations in Ponda. Such an undesirable situation has caused inconvenience and trouble for pedestrians and travellers alike.
The pillion-riders often proceed at a fast speed along water-logged areas and rainwater gets splashed over the pedestrians walking their way along the concerned routes. Seen in the picture is water-logging near the vehicular underpass at Kapileshwari Junction in Ponda. Public faces great inconvenience at this spot.
The pedestrians find it extremely difficult to proceed along the accumulated rain water. Let us hope that the concerned authorities would exhibit some sympathy towards innocent travellers and pedestrians and initiate prompt positive steps to assure normalcy at water-logged areas on regular basis.
An early relief in this sensitive matter would be appreciated by all.
