For years together, the ramp at entry for Betim-Panjim ferry has been in a terrible state and was an eyesore for the capital city of Panjim.
Now, at last a well-designed swank platform is getting ready which has a wide space and the whole area is neatly paved. Also a bit of greenery adds to the aesthetics. But essential are dustbins that should be provided at entry point and no vendors should be permitted inside. Entry of cattle should be prevented. It is also necessary to discipline two-wheeler riders, especially the tourists so that the exit and entry into the ferry takes place smoothly. Cleanliness needs to be maintained at all times.
