A long time demand of the people of Chandor and Guirdolim to build Railway bridge has not been fulfilled. They take this issue up and forget it soon. During the last election they promised that they will build this bridge soon after they will come into power but now next election is approaching All are just empty promises and the govt is just fooling the people of Chandor and Guirdolim all the time.
People have to wait to cross this gate for 20 minutes and sometimes even more with traffic jams. A railway bridge will solve lot of traffic woes near the crossing. Even the Kadamba transport shuttle services from Margao to Sanvordem which passes by this same route has to wait here for long time due to which public gets delayed after paying to reach fast. This Railway bridge will not only help the people of Chandor and Guirdolim but also be a big help to the villages of Curtorim and Macazana. We request the MLA and the government to look into this matter on a priority basis.
