Recently, frequent power failures were observed in and around Bicholim. Could the concerned authorities explain the reason for this? Though such power failures resume within a short while, such fluctuations damage several household gadgets. In a situation where in one needs to survive with the ever-increasing prices of essential commodities, not to forget the escalating prices of petrol and diesel, it is difficult to spend on the electronic gadgets when they are damaged due to such frequent power interruptions.
Such power interruptions also cause a lot of inconvenience for those suffering from any ailments and senior citizens. In case, some major electrical work is required to be done, the department needs to announce a prior shutdown and do the needful. I hope the concerned authorities will look into the grievances and do the needful at the earliest.
