PANJIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar announced that henceforth there would be no recruitment of Class D employees like sweeper, gardener, security in the State administration and these will be outsourced to Goa Human Resource Corporation as multi-tasking staff.
“We had enacted Goa Human Resource Development Act after complaints of victimisation by private contractors,” Parsekar.
Speaking further, the Chief Minister said employees will get job security and retirement benefits. “We have given relaxation to employees who are already working besides training is given which improves service. For the first time Goans are ready to join for security jobs,” he said adding, “Henceforth all government offices will have security from GHRC only.”
Earlier, he inaugurated the new office premises of Goa Human Resource Development Corporation at Porvorim.
