Class X repeaters since 2016 now eligible for supplementary tests

PANJIM: The Class X repeaters from 2016 onwards are eligible for the supplementary examination to be conducted by the schools from August 6 to August 17, declares Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE). 

The examination to be conducted by the respective schools, will be held either online or offline mode as decided by the education institutions. 

At present, 517 ATKTs as well as 67 students, who could not clear the Class X in April this year, and those who had withdrawn from the public examination, will have to answer the exams. 

The Board in a circular issued has directed the schools to ensure that those staff involved in conduct of the examination, are vaccinated with both the doses. 

The Board has asked schools to submit the marks on the web portal by August 18.  

Chairman of GBSHSE, Bhagirath G. Shetye said that the school will have to conduct the examination based on the sample paper issued by the board. 

A record number of 23,900 Class X students were promoted of the total 23,967, to class XI based on the internal assessment done by the schools.
