PANJIM: Nearly 100 students of Class X and XII, who could not answer the first term examination held in December due to medical reasons, will answer the supplementary exams from February 16.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct the supplementary first term examinations for 68 Class XII students and 30 Class X students, from February 16.
These are the students who failed to appear in the first term examination due to medical reasons or participation in the National Games.
The first term Board examination for major subjects for Class XII was held from December 8 to 18, 2021. For Class X, the major subjects examination were conducted from December 9 to 19, last year.
The Board has said that the candidates will have to produce documents like medical certificate or letter of participation in the National Games, to appear for the separate first term exams.
For the current academic term, the Board will conduct two public term examinations with 50 per cent of the syllabus to be covered in each term. The second term examination is likely to be held in April.
