Whilst Shri Narendra Modi is obviously doing his best to ‘Swaach Bharat’, perhaps he or someone could spare some time and have a look at the road system in Salcete.
Electric cables are being laid all along the coastal roads and subsequently the roads are being left in a very dangerous state as apparently there is no money forthcoming to re-tar the roads after the cables have been laid thus leaving sand, rocks etc randomly left all over the roadside.
The Goa tourism industry is, this season in particular, complaining of the drop in tourists and yet at the height of the tourist season roads are left in something that resembles a war zone! I implore Shri Modi, or a member of his team, to take a look and Swaach Goa with immediate effect
