Fatorda is a rapidly growing suburb of the State’s commercial capital but the Fatorda post office is not in good health. While the post office functions in dingy premises near the Rosary Church, its inflow of customers increases daily. The post office covers not just Fatorda, but also Borda and some parts of Madel area. Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai had once taken a morcha to the post office, but the issue remains unsolved. How can one expect the staff to deliver effectively as they work in unpleasant premises? The local MLA Sardessai needs to raise this issue with South Goa MP.
