Goyant Kholso Naka activist Abhijeet Prabhudessai has asserted that the clearances given for the Mollem double tracking project are hoax. Prabhudessai has said that the concerned officers are not allowed to apply their minds and are given clear instructions on what conclusion is to be presented on the report. The officers in Goa forest dept have made a blanket clearance stating that the project is recommended in public interest said Prabhudessai adding that the clearance are given without any basis or study.
Goyant Kholso Naka activist Abhijeet Prabhudessai has also stated that the clearances given for Mollem double tracking project are in private interest and against the in interest of the nation. He also said that the Double Tracking Project is a part of the MPT to handle coal.
