PANJIM: Days after announcing Rs 5 crore aid to Kerala, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has appealed to the Goans to donate to the Kerala Relief Fund.
“The State of Kerala has been devastated by floods and rain causing loss to human life, destruction of properties, roads etc. This is a human tragedy and Goans should reach out to our brethren in this hour of crises. Government of Goa has therefore opened an account namely “CHIEF MINISTER OF GOA, KERALA RELIEF FUND” bearing Account No. 37896464050,” the CM said in a statement released by CMO.
The Chief Minister has further appealed to the people to donate to the Kerala Relief Fund. The amount can be deposited in any of the branches of the State Bank of India by way of cash, cheque, ECS, NEFT, RTGS etc.
