CM assures to look into pay-scale benefits

The co-ordination committee of Goa Government Employees on Saturday said Chief Minister Digambar Kamat had assured it of constitution of a three-member committee grievance committee headed by Law Secretary Pramod Kamat to look into their grievances.
The committee, which is affiliated to the AITUC, has been demanding for extension of benefits of upgradation of pay scales for all left out categories/cadres of government employees and parity in retirement age.
The members of the committee explained to him the grievances after which they were assured of formation of the grievance committee.
