P: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured the former employees of Drishti Marine of an early solution to their demands.
The CM’sOffice stated that the CM has assured an early solution to their demands post consultation with all stakeholders.
A delegation of Goa Marine Life Saving Guards Union led by Advocate Ajitsingh Rane, Swati Kerkar and Shekhar Kamat met CM Sawant with their demands on regularisation in government services as lifesaving guards.
These guards were employed under Drishti Marine Life Saving Pvt Ltd for GTDC. The scope for regularisation was thoroughly discussed with the CM.
The lifeguards had been on strike for several days at Azad Maidan. They were shifted out of the location since December 19 during the President’s visit.
