PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended a booth level workers’ meeting at Mandrem Assembly constituency on Sunday.
A press statement issued by the party stated that the meeting was attended by over 2,000 workers.
“BJP candidate Dayanand Sopte who is contesting from this constituency has been receiving tremendous support. The workers during the meeting pledged to ensure Sopte’s victory by 8,000 votes in Mandrem constituency,” the press note said.
Addressing workers, Sawant said that the BJP would win in all the five constituencies including two Lok Sabha segments during the upcoming election.
“BJP’s biggest strength has been its workers, who are working tirelessly to ensure that party’s candidate wins. Everyone should pledge to have Narendra Modi as next Prime Minister in the Centre besides ensuring victory of Sopte,” Sawant said.
Sopte said that the vision of development can be completed only by BJP in the State. He assured the people to work for them during the entire tenure.
