VASCO: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with other BJP leaders paid a farewell visit and greeted the newly appointed Governor of Himachal Pradesh Rajendra Arlekar.
Later, Arlekar left for Himachal Pradesh as he will be sworn in as a Governor, on Tuesday.
On Monday morning, the Chief Minister, BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida, Urban Development Minister Milind Naik, Vinay Tendulkar and others paid visit to the residence of former Speaker of Goa Arlekar on his appointment as a Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
Arlekar, who will be sworn in as a Governor on Tuesday in Himachal Pradesh, met all party leaders in the State.
