PONDA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited Matruchhaya, an orphanage in Dhavali on the occasion of Diwali and also celebrated the Bhaubeej festival with the children at the premises.
Matruchaya, an NGO is working for the welfare of these children for several decades now. Speaking at the function, the CM said he enjoyed the company of the children and that the government would always support and maintains good relations with Matruchaya. He also shared sweets and interacted with the children to celebrate Bhaubeej, the occasion that highlights love between brothers and sisters.
Matruchaya in-charge, Madhukar Dixit and other dignitaries such as Sandeep Nigalye, Anup Keni, Dr. Subhash Bhosle, Nima Kamat, Dilip Dessai, and Kumar Sarjyotishi were present for the function.
